You can’t be a Christian and support homosexuality. You also can’t be a Christian and hate gay people.

@Thatbrian Read Matthew 23 today, genuinely blew my mind how similar they are.
The “father” thing was wildly accurate

Roman Catholics = Pharisees
Jesus slammed the Pharisees for loving their robes, titles, seats of honor, and man-made traditions that burdened people.
Roman Catholic clergy do the exact same thing — fancy vestments, “Father” and “Holy Father,” thrones, and endless rules layered on top of Scripture.
They’re the closest thing we have to modern Pharisees.
Change my mind.

Catholicism has more in common with Paganism than Christianity.
Take a look at these practices, often based in fear and superstition:
Dipping fingers in holy water and making the Sign of the Cross upon entering a church
Use of blessed salt, oils, candles, or palms
Ashes on the forehead on Ash Wednesday
Scapulars (e.g., Brown Scapular) and miraculous medals worn for protection
Blessing of objects, homes, cars, or animals
Devotional Practices
Praying the Rosary (beads + repetitive Hail Marys)
Novenas (structured 9-day prayers for a specific intention)
Stations of the Cross (walking/praying through 14 scenes of Jesus' Passion)
Angelus (praying at 6am, noon, 6pm with bells)
Litanies (repetitive invocations to saints or Mary)
Veneration & Intercession
Veneration of saints (praying to them for intercession)
Prayers to Mary (Hail Mary, Salve Regina, etc.)
Processions with statues or relics
Lighting candles before statues or icons Liturgical &
Seasonal Customs
Incense used in Mass or processions
Clergy vestments (specific colors, chasubles, etc.)
Latin in the Traditional Latin Mass (Tridentine rite)
