So currently in hospital starting the conditioning treatment for my stem cell transplant! 2 rounds of chemo each day then on Monday I have full body radiation then the transplant is on Tuesday! I’ll be in hospital for between 4-6 weeks depending on how quickly the cells graft!

Just had my appointment and he said things are still on track for the end of November! I now have to isolate as any sickness will delay the transplant! He said that there are 40 million people on there database and I didn’t have 1 match! Lucky my bro matched

So had my transplant appointment today if my brothers are a match I’ll be having one in 6 weeks! If they’re not, as I have a unique HLA it will take longer! I’ll no more in a few weeks! I’m so fucking tired and sore and fed up I just wanna get this started now! Fuck cancer!

Well that doctor was fucking fantastic!! He said we are not at a transplant yet! He wants to give me more time. My heart tests was perfect so I have another appointment in 6 weeks and I’m now taking my chemo every other day to see if I tolerate that

Sorry I haven’t posted more on here my heads been up my arse! So both treatments have failed so I now need a stem cell transplant! It’s fucking shit! Got an appointment tomorrow with the transplant team to start this shit show!

@ClarityClack Hiya, sorry I keep forgetting to update on here, first round of chemo failed as I wasn’t tolerating it so I’ve just started on a different one. Fingers crossed this works if not then I have to have a stem cell transplant! Really don’t want a transplant as it sounds horrible xx

Has anyone heard from @Stillnotarsed in a while? Last time I was here she shared some sad news about her health. I’ve had a look on her TL but it’s been quiet for months.

@TonyTown67 Happy Christmas angel, I’m ok still trying to get my treatment right as the one I’m on atm is so strong it’s lowering the cancer cells boss but also all the other good cells! So my platelets have dropped again meaning I’ll need more transfusions! Well get there xxxx

Grief is so weird bc I’ve been fine about it being our first Christmas without grandad but just bawled my eyes out at the sight of a fruit scone bc he loved them 😂😂
