I assume is just BTS total numbers in the eligibility period. They had fan interactions, streams and song sales. PTD live album + old content contributed. Additionally, you can see that the first 6 days after Arirang was released counted too. They sold over 600k units in the first week. so I do believe that was a strong push.

So the proper eligibility window for ARIRANG and SWIM is next year’s AMAs. It seems they stretched a bit to be able to include SWIM in the Song of Summer category for this year, which means they’re probably gonna be at the show. Get ready to vote, we gotta win this!
