On this topic: there are so many games about killing people. Are there any good games purely about saving lives, where you play as a paramedic/firefighter or something similar?

@solidusgas @RiloeGaming It’s a strategy game, I don’t think you’ve actually played it nor any other strategy games but this is what they tend to be like. It still doesn’t fit the description of a visual novel btw. Characters aren’t static and you can play during the “cutscenes” most people choose not to

@StinkyFishLD @RiloeGaming Nothing is rendered in the game, it is just playing pre-rendered videos with voice acting in telltale you get the option to waltz around and interact within the game world so yes that can be considered a video game but not dispatch

@solidusgas @RiloeGaming Visual novels are more so point and click text based games. Dispatch is a video game just like the telltale games. It has full voice acting and actual gameplay elements. It’s a strategy game.

Genuinely so sad that the ending of #dispatch is buggy. My entire romance with visi failed because the game just ignored all my choices. Replayed following a guide and it was all the same choices and she still became evil. Heartbreaking kill of the moment.
