You don’t get handed the best version of yourself. You have to build him. Brick by brick. Through discomfort. Through failure. Through discipline. One day, you’ll look in the mirror and see a man you built. Not one you settled for.

A question to ask yourself: If you had to give a 10 minute speech on a topic of your choice, what would you talk about? This question will help you discover what your area of expertise is. If you don't have one - get developing one.

It is easier to strategise than it is to execute, because strategising is safe and has no risk. It doesn’t have to face reality. We need to stop being hesitant in execution, and engage in what makes us uncomfortable.

How do you elevate small talk? Skip the usual "What do you do?" and "How are you?" They are low effort questions and often lead to forgettable conversations. If you ask dull questions, you'll get dull answers. You need to be conversationally bold. Be willing to break the social script.

When you’re aligned with your purpose, You don’t feel like you're being pushed, You feel like you're being pulled. Flow beats force every time.

Changing your behaviour can change the way you perceive yourself.

Staying quiet to avoid conflict may seem easier, But true strength comes from standing your ground. When you value yourself, others will too.

@SheilaMTinkham I like that thought process. Build up to the big dream by achieving the small ones.

@StoicMot Dream big, but achieve in the minor leagues before being called up to the majors....success is built over time.
