Although her gracious majestie Queen Elizabeth is unable to join us today as hoped, Mistress Sotherton is going ahead for the festivities planned for the day, and A Very Merrie Time will be had by all. Do join us today Weds 28 August. Museum open till 4pm.

Historic Kett’s Heights boasts amazing views across our fine city and from this weekend they are accessible for all to enjoy as those with mobility issues will be able to use our new entrance and pathways to explore this beautiful green space. See bit.ly/3WNz60L

This summer Ancient House continued its friendship with the Obsidian Museum in Nagawa, Japan. Day Two: The group visited @StrangersHall and met Queen Elizabeth I! You can see her there on 30 August 2024. @KTDnorfolk

It was Roman’s day today at @Lynn_Museum! I made miniature shields with the children and lightly introduced them to army formations! Highlights of the day include being told I’m a child’s favourite and being gifted a drawing of me :3
