🛰High-quality satellite images of the Ivanovo-East airfield (Ivanovo Region, Russian Federation) As of 11:25 a.m. on September 22, the following were located at the airfield: — 8x A-50U; — 9 Il-76MD; — 1x An-22; — 3x An-72; — 4x An-26; — 2 Il-20M; — 1 Mi-8. Over the past few days, A-50U reconnaissance aircraft activity has been observed for the first time from this airfield. One of the A-50U aircraft can be seen undergoing maintenance; of the eight aircraft stationed here, only six are operational. In addition, three Su-24MR aircraft that were stationed here recently left the airfield and were relocated, probably to the Morozovsk airfield.

🛰 Medium-high quality satellite images of Ulyanovsk airfield (Ulyanovsk region) As of 31.08. 07:29 (UTC), the airfield was occupied by: 1x A-50 dual-role reconnaissance aircraft; 21x An-124 Ruslan; 12x Il-76M; 8x Tu-204; 1x An-12. At the airfield, you can see an A-50 aircraft, which even today was conducting reconnaissance within the Ulyanovsk region. Although there is a large number of transport aircraft here, most of them do not operate and become spare parts donors. In general, this is a so-called center where aircraft are modernized and repaired. Like other airfields, there are a large number of hangars for aircraft.

Since the beginning of 2025, Russia has fired 26 Kinzhal airborne ballistic missiles from Mig-31K in Ukraine, with launches taking place only in June and July. 💥8 Kinzhal missiles were shot down and 2 more missiles did not reach their targets, making a total of 16 missiles hit. In general, launches of Kinzhal air defense missiles usually take place from the Tambov/Lipetsk/Volgograd regions, but sometimes Rostov/Ryazan regions of Russia are used. The main airfields for Mig-31Ks are Savasleyka/Akhtubinsk/Privolzhsky, and all three airfields can be equipped with Kinzhal missiles.

🛰 Medium resolution satellite images of Dyagilevo airfield, Ryazan region, Russia. As of 11.07.2025, the airfield was home to: 4x Tu-22m3; 2x Tu-95ms; 13x Il-76/78; 2x Su-30cm. The airfield is not actually used for attacks on Ukraine, only occasionally Il-78M aircraft take off from here to refuel strategic aircraft. The Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 strategic bombers have not changed their parking place for a very long time, meaning that they have not been training or redeployed.

As of 10.07 (11:49 UTC) the following were at the airfield: 1x Tu-95ms; 2x Tu-22m3; 3x Il-76MD; 1x An-72; 1x An-26; 4x Su-24MR; 2x Su-27 2x Su-34 5x L-39 1x Yak-130 1x Su-25 4x MiG-29 16 helicopters of various types (including at least 1 Mi-8 and 1 Mi-26) Most of the aircraft at this airfield are inoperable, such as Tu-95ms and 2 Tu-22m3, but a large number of transport aircraft such as Il-76MD/An-124/An-12 and others with military cargo land here. The photo shows the active development of the airfield and the hangars for tactical fighters that have already been built. It is likely that all operational aircraft will be housed in the hangars after the development is completed.
