Thank you to Mrs Larkin and Ms Pang for supporting our students last term at the Our School Spectacular concert. It was an incredible night! We are so proud of all performers, compères and staff.

Today our school captain, Freyja, led a lunchtime performance group where students who played a musical instrument could perform for their peers. What a fantastic show of leadership and an exciting opportunity for all.

Our year two students have had the amazing opportunity in our learn to swim program running with the help of our teachers and SLSOs as well! What an important life skill for them to be learning!

Our Stage 3 choir students had the most amazing opportunity to perform at the Sydney Opera House as part of the Festival of Choral Music on Tuesday. Thank you Miss Tran and Mrs Rosewarne @TheArtsUnit

One week on from R U OK Day and we continue to ensure that we are proactive and have meaningful conversations with our peers. An awesome afternoon tea and performance with our community.

Yesterday SSPS students attended our Zone Athletics Carnival at Sydney Olympic Park. We also had many of our student helpers assisting our officials on the day. Our athletes did an amazing job, with some students making it to the Sydney East level.

Today, 10 students attended an awesome Indigenous Literacy Day event @ACUmedia with Sydney Story Factory leaders and first year pre-service teachers read us some stories from First Nations authors too!

Our staff at SSPS are always improving their practice to become the best teachers and leaders. They have recently completed an intensive Art of Leadership course! Congratulations Miss Mascitelli and Mrs Kayello.

Celebrating our amazing SASS staff at our school this week (every week too, but in particular this week). We thank them for everything that they do each and every day for our school and our community. We couldn't do it without them!

Grateful to have our substantive principal @KarenMortimer1 recognised for her leadership and contribution, particularly at SSPS.

We held an amazing Father’s Day BBQ this morning to celebrate and thank all the awesome men in our lives. A great turn out by our community and thank you to our teachers that doubled as chefs! Our volunteers also helped us run a gift stall for students to purchase from.

Early Stage 1 visited the Royal Botanical Gardens today. The Ss were very excited to go on a bus to the City and see variety of plants and animals.

Our 3-6 Athletics Carnival was held yesterday at the warm up track. Such a glorious day! Thank you to @ZingActiv for their support and organisation alongside our SSPS carnival organisers☀️

We are very excited to have Meerkat Productions perform some of the CBCA books to our whole school. Students are immersed in the book world through these productions.

Our Senior dance group had a dress rehearsal today for Our School Spectacular 🌟
