@FedeItaliano76 It’s not great. Could make a much better one with Josef Müller Brockmann in mind. Small text, small logo, bum colours. An overall bland, unrecognisable look.
@FedeItaliano76 I biked from Central Frankfurt once to see it. It is very inaccessible inside a closed industrial estate. I discovered you could book a visit so was going to come back. The covid hit and visits were stopped. Don’t know if it’s possible now. Still a dream of mine :-)
An astounding example of Backsteinexpressionismus (Brick Expressionism): the Technical Administration Building interior of the former Hoechst AG in Frankfurt, designed by Peter Behrens (1920-4). Photographs by Klaus Peter Hoppe
@clairestrickett I read (most of it hehe) recently. Was inspired by the weirdness. For instance, luxury brand should never cowtow to customers or celebrities, refreshing. Makes me want to work with mysterious luxury brands only.
My Roman Empire is the fact that open plan offices are proven to be absolutely terrible conditions for working... and yet nowhere I've ever worked seems to have questioned this approach. A clear route to competitive advantage for agencies, but apparently no takers
@clairestrickett Funny just listened to a pod episode (Cautionary tales) about this Yesterday and thought the same thing. Hot desking keeps coming up, even if it counters common sense.
And in the Gospel of St Marketing, the peoples of the land of kitchen, having worshipped the everlasting sign of the Golden Syrup, shall turn unto a new god, a new logo is revealed, and great lamentation was heard throughout the land.
Oh, syrup, why hast thou forsaken us?
Have found myself in a wework for the first time. So many other designers! I wander around the room looking over their shoulders offering feedback, everyone really appreciates it, great community here
Remember the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan is estimated to have rendered 5.3 million Afghans refugees, and the war on terror overall is estimated to have displaced 37 million ppl. It entailed an average of 46 bombs dropped per day. The humanitarian crisis that never was.
