We all knew it would be the playoffs for #Boro before today - but I’m far from confident playing Southampton over 2 legs with the 2nd leg away. Most worrying that we are relying on Kaly Sene (one of the worst signings of the modern era) and Sarmiento to change things.

@RobSc0tt Yeah agree with all , first leg is more crucial, you can kill the tie with a good performance,, and I’d rather have e Southampton over two legs, and with the slight possibility of playing hull in the final 🤣

It looked like a side with everything to play for against a side whose fate was already sealed, which it was effectively. Don't place too much stock in having the second leg at home personally.

The league table after we beat Sheffield United on 9 February. If we don’t miraculously get through the play-offs, how we bottled this through incompetence and ineptitude both on and off the pitch (*cough* January) will be talked about for decades as a sliding doors moment.
