Bald komme ich wieder nach Österreich und spreche am Freitag 17. April 2026 um 19 Uhr in Graz. Ich werde argumentieren, dass die NATO ein gefährliches Militärbündnis ist und dass Österreich unbedingt die Neutralität bewahren muss. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde Österreich, wie Deutschland, in vier Besatzungszonen aufgeteilt – eine sowjetische, eine britische, eine amerikanische und eine französische. Soldaten der Siegermächte patrouillierten gemeinsam in Wien. Die Hauptstadt war, wie der Rest des Landes, unter den Alliierten aufgeteilt. Am 25. Oktober 1955 zogen sich die alliierten Streitkräfte aus den Besatzungszonen zurück, und am nächsten Tag verabschiedete das österreichische Parlament ein Gesetz zur ewigen Neutralität. Das neutrale Österreich schloss auf dem Höhepunkt des Kalten Krieges als erstes Land Europas ein Abkommen mit der UdSSR über Gaslieferungen. Österreich muss unbedingt an der Neutralität festhalten! Well… thinking about it, I guess I should say something to lift some feelings inside a bit. My new relationship didn’t work out, sadly. It was my fault too. She had to move to another province, and I—well… I tried. But I had a lot on my plate… and honestly, so did she. Still, I’m grateful. Even though it only lasted a few months, she was truly kind. We agreed to remain good friends, and there’s nothing bad between us at all. …sigh 😮‍💨 Still a long way to go, Jimmy. I’m 37 now… and maybe it’s already too late for me. But then again… you never really know. 🤣 This all happened before the ‘26 Expo… But you know what?
