I introduced The Prohibition of Manual Scavenging and Protection of Sanitation Workers (ICT) Bill, 2026 to end manual scavenging, ensure safe working conditions, provide legal protection, mandate mechanised cleaning, and establish accountability for employers and authorities. वह बौखला कर चिल्लाने लगी कि मैंने उस पर केस किया है। 2019 में यह अंग्रेज़ी में छपा था, फिर 2020 में हिंदी में भी प्रकाशित हुआ। आज तक वह लेख उपलब्ध है। अगर वह गलत था तो उसे हटवाया क्यों नहीं गया? असल में वह गलत था ही नहीं। कारवां के पास इसके सबूत थे। वह कुछ नहीं कर सकती। घमंड, अहंकार, बदतमीज़ी, जातिगत अहंकार और पद का दुरुपयोग करके वह किसी को बहस से बाहर कर सकती हैं, लेकिन आरक्षण-विरोधी चेहरा कहाँ छुपाएँगी?

अंजना ओम कश्यप ने यहाँ अपने पद का ही इस्तेमाल किया है और उनका जातिगत अहंकार साफ़ तौर पर दिखाई देता है। उन्होंने साफ़ कह दिया चलो, हमारे चैनल से हटो। मानो यह चैनल उनकी जागीर हो। यही सब तो विश्वविद्यालयों में भी होता है। कह दिया जाता है चलो, यहाँ से निकलो, तुम्हारे लिए कोई नौकरी नहीं है। तुम्हारे लिए यहाँ दाख़िले में भी जगह नहीं है जैसे विश्वविद्यालय उनके पिता और दादाजी की विरासत हो।

यूजीसी बिल एक क्या आ गया, उसमें ओबीसी को शामिल क्या कर लिया गया कि पूरा मनुवादी मानसिकता का सवर्ण समाज बजबजा उठा। टीवी चैनलों पर बहस पर बहस हो रही हैं। सवर्ण समाज के कुछ पत्रकार मुझसे पूछे कि ओबीसी कैसे भरोसा दिलाएगा कि वह इसका दुरुपयोग नहीं करेगा। अरे भाई, ओबीसी क्यों भरोसा दिलाए? क्या तुमने कभी भरोसा दिलाया कि तुम ओबीसी के साथ अत्याचार नहीं करोगे? अगर यह भरोसा दिलाया होता तो यूजीसी बिल की ज़रूरत नहीं होती। डरो मत, अपने बच्चों के अंदर आग मत लगाओ। अपने बच्चों को भड़काओ मत।

Why are you agitated if you know you don't practice caste discrimination. Because if applies to those who practice it. Also this is not the old times as upper castes you can say and do what you feel like and Dalit Bahujans will quietly take it. They will give back properly.

This in English called circumlocution. This is the understanding of a Brahmin MP on Caste discrimination in higher education. Can't stay away from caste loyalty, can't understand that Castes are a hierarchy and it is the upper castes who discriminate those below them..

While any kind of caste discrimination on the campus is wrong, India has seen enough of students having to suffer the consequences of it, however shouldn’t the law be encompassing and ensure protection is guaranteed to all? Why this discrimination in application of law? What happens in case of false cases? How does one decide guilt?How does one describe discrimination- through words, actions or perceptions? The applicability of law has to be clear, precise and equal for all. Hence instead of creating a bad environment on campuses I’d urge that the UGC notification either be withdrawn or corrected.
