Congratulations to JR McKenna Ogurko for being named Honerable Mention All Chesmont. She won the Offensive Player of the Year Award for Sun Valley with 16 Hits and a .377 OBP. We are looking forward to more great things to come for McKenna’s Senior Year

Congratulations to Layla Murphy for being selected 2nd Team All-Chesmont. In her outstanding career she had 94 hits, 55 RBI, 57 runs, 25 doubles and 6 HR’s. The 2 time Carpenter Cup pitcher and All Delco selection will continue her playing career at Goldey Beacom College

Congrats to SR Jordyn Skarren being selected 1st Team All Chesmont for the 4th consecutive year. In her career she amassed 105 hits, 79 rbi, 30 doubles and a Sun Valley record 17 Home Runs. The 2 time All-Delco selection will be playing for Millersville next season.

SV defeated Kennett 11-1 on Senior Day. Layla Murphy had 3 hits with 2 Doubles and 6 RBI. Jordyn Skarren also had 3 hits and 2 doubles with 3 RBI. Skarren pitched 3 shutout innings for the win and Murphy had 8 strikeouts in relief. Gianna Jones and Abby Moran also had RBI’s

Oxford defeated Sun Valley 3-2. Pitcher Layla Murphy struck out 9 and had 2 hits and an RBI. Abby Moran knocked in the other run. McKenna Ogurko and Carly Hess also picked up hits.

Sun Valley 12 Penncrest 2. Winning Pitcher Jordyn Skarren struck out 12 and had 2 hits. Layla Murphy paced the offense with 3 hits (2 doubles) and 4 RBI. Carly Hess (2 doubles) and Keira Wilkerson had 2 rbi each. Mia Kelly, Madison Chadwick and McKenna Ogurko had 2 hits each.

Great Valley defeated Sun Valley 17-3. Jordyn Skarren slammed 2 Home Runs and Emma Czernik knocked in a run. Abby Moran had 2 hits and Madison Chadwick doubled. Mia Kelly and Gabriella Hillson also had hits.

West Chester East defeated Sun Valley 14-2. Layla Murphy Homered and scored both runs. Madison Chadwick also had an RBI single. Jordyn Skarren and McKenna Ogurko also had hits for the Vanguards.

Unionville defeated Sun Valley 3-2. Keira Wilkerson knocked in Madison Chadwick and Gabriella Hillson who slammed a double for SV’s offense. Wilkerson and McKenna Ogurko kept SV close with their defense along with the Outstanding pitching by Layla Murphy.

Sun Valley defeated Bishop Shanahan 8-7 in 12 innings. Jordyn Skarren hit the game winning double on her 100th career hit. She also struck out 19. Abby Moran hit a 2 out 2 run single in the 7th to extend the game. Carly Hess also had 2 RBI’s.

WC Rustin defeated Sun Valley 5-0. Madison Chadwick had 2 hits and Jordyn Skarren doubled. Layla Murphy, McKenna Ogurko, Abby Doyle, and Keira Wilkerson also had hits. Murphy pitched well in the loss.

Sun Valley defeated Oxford 6-5. Layla Murphy picked up the win in relief and had 2 hits and scored 3 runs. McKenna Ogurko had the game winning hit with a 2 run double. Jordyn Skarren had 3 hits with a double and triple and Abby Moran knocked in 2 runs.

Sun Valley defeated Kennett 12-2 behind the offense of Layla Murphy who had a Home Run, 2 doubles and 5 RBI’s. Winning Pitcher Jordyn Skarren had 4 hits and struck out 10. McKenna Ogurko had 3 hits, Layla Kistler knocked in 2 and Keira Wilkerson had a double and scored twice.

Great Valley defeated Sun Valley 4-1. Keira Wilkerson, Abby Moran, Mia Kelly, and Carly Hess all had hits. Jordyn Skarren pitched well striking out 7 in the loss.

Sun Valley defeated WC Henderson 11-1. Winning pitcher Jordyn Skarren led the way with a 2 run Homer and 3 RBI’s while striking out 7. McKenna Ogurko 2 hits and 2 RBI, Madison Chadwick had a double and 2 RBI and Abby Moran had a double and RBI.

Sun Valley suffered a 15-2 loss to Unionville. A few bright spots, McKenna Ogurko blasted a solo Home Run, Freshman Kristina Proios doubled and Freshman Layla Kistler knocked her in with a rbi single. Mia Kelly and Layla Murphy also had hits.

Sun Valley lost 4-3 vs Wc Rustin. Pitchers Jordyn Skarren had 9 strikeouts and 3 hits at the plate. Layla Murphy had an RBI double and a game tying HR. Freshman Rylee Davis had 2 hits and run scored and Abby Moran had a hit and an RBI. Unionville at home Friday
