I remember when I was job hunting. A friend offered to help me secure a job at Guinness Plc that paid ₦200,000 a month, this my friend had access to the HR inside. I submitted my CV and followed up with the HR contact. Then the man told me to send him a nûde photo with my face clearly showing to his mail. He also said he would collect my first two months' salary after I got the job. According to him, the nude was to "hold me ransom" in case I failed to keep my end of the bargain....

This person was applied for to come to canada, but IRcc requested bank statement, so, i told him to send them to me so I can upload it, because the main application doesnt require bank statement but they asked. When i received the statement, I realized that he was financially okay whenever he asked me to give him money, he actually have at least minimum of 200k in his account and he will say no one kobo to buy food. I was dazed when I saw the bank statements and it was like over 5 times on the statement. He apologized and said, some filmsy excuses. I let it slide. Knowing now that he also sold what he was gifted and lied it was stolen made it super clear that, when someone lied once, EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT THEM IS A LIE. RUN!!!! Lying should always be a red flag. Never lie to someone sent to help you! One day, you'll be exposed. Auntymi, esa ma binu.
