Today, the @CityofSurrey marked the second consecutive year of raising the Pride Flag at City Hall in honor of Pride Month. This symbol of inclusivity and equality represents our unwavering commitment to creating a welcoming and valued space for all in our community. The City is also illuminating Civic Plaza in rainbow colors from June 22-29 and we've repainted the rainbow crosswalk with a more modern and inclusive design in consultation with @SurreyPrideBC. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable night at the inaugural Rainbow Gala and Awards. I am grateful to @SurreyPrideBC for playing a huge role in fostering a community of acceptance year-round. Thank you to Martin Rooney and everyone at Surrey Pride for the incredible work you do to make Surrey a better place. Later this month, we will be raising the Pride Flag at Surrey City Hall for the second year in a row. I'm thrilled to see our city come together to celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and acceptance.
