Hey folks, we built swarmcli.io – a k9s-style TUI for Docker Swarm to make daily ops less painful. Native docker commands work great until you're jumping between inspect/logs/scale/rollback on a live cluster. Honest feedback welcome.

Pro tip: `docker service ps ` + `docker service inspect` are your best friends. Still painful? There’s a better way now.

Docker Swarm service stuck in "Pending" again? Here are the 3 most common causes + quick fixes: 1. Resource limits/reservations 2. Port conflicts 3. Node placement constraints Save this for next time it happens.

This repository couldn't have been dropped at a better time than this, I already pretty much everything upto week 2. So I will be starting from week 3 (docker swarm and secrets management). I have tinkered and explored a little bit about k8s and helms but will do it more practically this time. Let's see if I can complete it by EOD.

@mertssmnoglu vps + docker swarm + traefik + portainer ile basit bir vps'te bir sürü stack run ediyorum. dokploy'da güzel ama ilk tercihim değil.

@portainerio Maybe the enterprise ecosystem moved on, but the bottom line hasn't. Zero overhead means zero wasted capital. Why pay a premium for K8s complexity when Swarm keeps your margins lean and your deployment instant?

@SwarmCli Its more so you can get off swarm in a controlled manner… the ecosystem has (unfortunately) moved on from swarm, so its best to follow the lead.

This. People telling me Kubernetes is “overengineered” and “you don’t need it unless you’re a FAANG” are telling me they don’t have basic understanding of ops challenges. And if they say “just use Docker Compose in production,” well, that’s a fire-or-don’t-hire offense.
