🚨 Messi Shares Ronaldo Birthday Call, Dreams of Final Clash
🗣️ Lionel Messi: "First of all, thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes. It has been a very special day for me.
I also received a call from Cristiano Ronaldo, who took the time to wish me a happy birthday. It was a thoughtful gesture, and I truly appreciated it.
Over the years, we have shared one of football's greatest rivalries. We pushed each other to improve, competed at the highest level, and created many unforgettable moments. Above all, there has always been mutual respect between us.
Hopefully, both of our teams can reach the final. I think it would be something special for football and for the fans around the world. Maybe we could have one last dance together on the biggest stage.
For now, my focus is on helping my team, enjoying every moment, and continuing to compete at the highest level."

🗣️ Cristiano Ronaldo:
“You can choose Messi, Maradona, or anyone else. I respect that. But in terms of being the most complete footballer ever, I believe that’s me. Headers, free-kicks, pace, strength, athleticism, goals with both feet. I bring everything to the game. I’ve never seen a player more complete than myself.”

@laderechadiario WOW.. this has never been done before for any other athlete I am sure. 🧡

Today is Lionel Messi’s birthday, and it made me think about how much discovering him changed my life.
What started as simply watching a footballer quickly became something much bigger. Messi wasn’t just scoring goals or winning trophies; he was teaching me lessons without ever speaking to me. He taught me that talent alone isn’t enough, that consistency matters, that humility can exist alongside greatness, and that you don’t need to be the loudest person in the room to become the best in the world.
Growing up, watching Messi gave me something to look forward to. Every match felt like an event, every touch felt special, and every season felt like watching history unfold in real time. He made impossible things look normal and turned football into art. Through victories, defeats, criticism, injuries, and countless comparisons, he kept going. That resilience inspired me more than the goals ever did.
Messi is the reason I fell in love with football the way I did. He’s the reason I’ve spent years debating the game, creating content about it, meeting people through it, and building memories around it. Some of my favorite moments, conversations, and friendships can be traced back to watching a little Argentine magician do things with a football that nobody else could.
People often argue about who the GOAT is, but for me the answer was decided a long time ago. Not because of the records, the Ballon d’Ors, the World Cup, or the trophies, but because of the impact. Very few athletes change a sport. Even fewer change lives. Messi did both.
Happy Birthday to the greatest footballer I’ve ever seen and the player who made me fall in love with the beautiful game. Thank you for the memories, the lessons, and the privilege of witnessing greatness.
