@SwillCS @PretzelHugs Apologies, I had in mind the frequency of spam, not the length of spam. Since most of the time you don't tend to mag dump a full 20 into a smoke because that's too much time in the open and is much more likely to result in death via retaliatory fire than a quick burst.

never seen the kind of pushback this update has received, played about 10 games of valve servers today and yesterday and in 8 of the games at least 1 person said they are probably going to sell their skins and leave the game or that the game is going to die

@Polterghast @PretzelHugs hardcore smoke spam doesnt even change, its only like 4-7 bullet smoke spams that are different

@SwillCS @PretzelHugs Does the update even do anything? You hardly reload more than 3-4 times per round anyways. It seems that besides hardcore smoke spam nothing much will change. Who shoots 15 awp bullets per round?

@Irate_Jobbie @bibiahn immediate punishment such as dying is very different from long term punishments such as poor physical and mental health, relationships, or grades/careers. ADHD ppl are famously able to be extremely good at video games

After playing a practice day with this update, I don't feel it affects the way I play that much at all. If anything I won't die mid-reload out of adhd now :P

@Irate_Jobbie @bibiahn There’s a difference between “adhd forced me to do it against my will” and “I allowed myself to succumb to my adhd impulses because there was no downside” - people would not spam butterfly inspect animation if it did 5 damage to yourself

10/10 update, ammo has been such a useless mechanic in CS - it could've very well been just unlimited ammo cuz you never ran out of it anyway. Super excited to see this shit ingame, finally a good gameplay update 🙏

@Ethan_gTV Pistols will not be used in gun rounds if that’s what you mean, and as an awper I think it will barely change

I think with is update just initial thoughts -Pistols will be used to spam and take early round fights -Awping will be 10x harder -People might buy extra guns in spawn to have ammo for rotates(smg/extra pistol) -the auto actually might be way more useable in this meta for awpers (sorry for the auto propaganda but it’s true)

@godxpEEzY it will change how the game is played a lot but I dont think thats a reason to hate it, valve understands that constant trade offs is what makes this game so deep despite its "simplicity"

I think I hate this change, this has been CS for a very long time and really is going to affect spamming smokes and such

@SwillCS I think the game is pretty good besides cheaters and VRS, I do think MR15 was better competitively but I understand valve wanting the game streamlined I miss the movement sometimes but I just go back to GO and play community servers for that so it's w/e

I hate when people say CSGO is just nostalgia when it just feels better, it's similar to CS2 but I'd say it's 10% better in moving/shooting, the biggest thing I miss from GO is MR15 CS2 does address ping very well though, higher ping is a lot better in CS2 than GO I enjoy CS2

@PretzelHugs my biggest problem BY FAR with cs2 is that it isnt 128 tick

@SwillCS prime example is 128tick, it's more $ for valve so they refuse to do it when the game is infinite money glitch as it is
