The Gears of War franchise was defined by brotherhood and impossible stakes. It made you feel like a hero making a final stand beside your brothers in arms while the world collapsed around you. Why, then is Microsoft promoting it in such an uninspired way?

Reports claiming Gears of War: E-Day has a budget upwards of $400 MILLION are wild. ​For context, Spider-Man 2 cost ~$300M. If true, a 14-hour linear campaign costing $400M+ I hope we see film, TV and eSports involved. Thoughts?

Gears of War E-Day budget is claimed to be upwards of $400 million🚀 (I’m not sure XBOX understands this yet, but giving a game day one as part of a subscription service with tens of other games, expects to not only turn in $400 million but also double that amount to break even. @THExREALxDP @GearsofWar Jumping on top of cover to get an angle, sliding across the floor. This will be helpful when people are playing their lives smoke slide and one shot... Some wall bouncing. Just overall a more balanced experience that will help with longevity of the game.
