Oppo Find X9 Ultra teleconverter size is absolutely hilarious 🤦‍♂️ I think if you are carrying such big external lens, then at this point start considering going for actual camera! Maybe grab a Sony A6700 and a Tamron 18-300mm or Tamron 70-300mm, it will be 10x better in image quality, and somehow it will be cheaper than the Global model 😅 If you plan to use teleconverter on a phone, get the Vivo X300 Ultra: Much better stabilization (absolutely crucial with such long range zoom), much smaller in size (you can actually fit it inside your jacket pocket, this one is impossible), much cheaper (based on massive pricing difference between X300 Pro and Oppo Find X9 Pro teleconverter), longer focal length (400mm vs 300mm based on rumors), Zeiss lens architecture and coating, and overall much better image quality 🤷‍♂️ Where the Oppo Find X9 Ultra shines the most is having a native 230mm lens with 1/2.75" sensor and massive f/3.5 aperture which makes the arguably the best smartphone for 10x-15x zoom shots, but when it comes to teleconverter, Vivo is going to be the only logical choice 💥

what’s really nice about vivo’s new teleconverters is that they are compatible with X200 Ultra and the X300 Pro as well this means you can get the new G2 200mm or G2 Ultra 400mm teleconverter for your X200 Ultra/X300 Pro and ofc, the older G1 teleconverter is compatible with the X300 Ultra

Two things, the picture that everyone's sharing is for the Vivo X300 Ultra 16GB/1TB model. At that configuration, the price is crazy for almost all top brands, whether it's Samsung, Apple, or something else, so, I think most of these outrages are taken out of context. Second, as much as I love what Vivo and Oppo are doing, if they can't make the pricing good, it would be impossible for me to justify paying for it. I can grab a Xiaomi 17 Ultra (Chinese Variant) 12GB+512GB for less than 1000$. If Vivo and Oppo decide to make it much more expensive than this, I will skip them because Xiaomi 17 Ultra does 90% of the same thing they do and even does a few things better, so can't justify it if the gap is too big (For example right now Vivo X300 Ultra Chinese model costs more than the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Global model in Trinity Electrics for the same RAM and storage configuration) doesn't matter whether it's because of growing RAM price or something else because as a consumer that's not my concern, I want the best device with best price to quality ratio.
