Epic is likely working on updating Save The World's lighting, using "HestiaBeauty" night time and day sequences as testing grounds. Unsure when the transition will happen. Here is pictures of how the "new" Day Sequence system looks like ingame in a Stonewood Suburban zone.

@archer_fortnite While it's appealing, I don't think it was really necessary. I would have preferred it if they had updated the menu and explained how everything worked, while also making the menu more flexible and customizable

Random talk, but a lot of people don't realize just how impressive something like Hestia (Homebase) is on Epics end. This is the first time they have ever had a Frontend be PLAYABLE, where the player can actually interact and move around inside the Frontend with a player controller. Epic has literally never done this before, BR doesn't even have this level of tech, and it's incredible they managed to pull it off in STW none the less with just how much stuff STW has going on at all times. Even with the bugs and lag issues right now, it's still insane they pulled this off from a technical standpoint

@SouthieFromSTW1 So weird how we have bosses in missions that are mostly just regular husk but beefed up, but no mist monster type bosses (not considering the smashers). I think it would be pretty neat if we could get elemental mist monster bosses in 160s

Fun fact but Epic can any new update enable elemental mist monsters. Currently Dungeons have very rare chances of spawning elemental Blasters and Takers, with more existing in the files like Flingers. Do you think it would be cool to have them in STW now that the game is f2p🤔🤔?

@epic_jason_stw @archer_fortnite @Wasting_Night Gonna be honest and say that this change wasn't necessary. Yes, it's nice that the defenders follow you now, but limiting the defenders to use their default weapons, while also still using their old buggy AI, makes them useless in high-level missions.

Unless I'm missing something you apparently can't give Defenders a weapon from your inventory anymore? That's gonna suck for me if that's the case since Obliterator sniper boxes are a staple when I'm doing high PL missions solo. lol

Hot take: STW should add cars. So before you say anything, I know that it is a TERRIBLE idea Since STW is going to start getting updates, I thought I would share by "magical christmas land" idea for STW (that I am sure a lot of people will hate): I think that adding driveable cars to STW could be so cool. Imagine if they expanded the map to be way larger, and then added cars so its easier to get around/kill husks? Maybe you would have to repair a car with parts, to be able to drive it Imagine the Car Loadouts you could make with heroes! They could add heroes that buff car damage, add spiked bumpers, or even add turrets and stuff to cars. @epic_jason_stw @archer_fortnite Any plans to make changes to Ventures? As much as I like that endgame players like myself have content to play, Ventures feels repetitive and boring, even with the motifiers. Even something as simple as crafting our schematics could make it more enjoyable.
