LAKEHEAD UNIVERSITY HIRES CONVICTED RAPIST TO TEACH LAW ASSISTANT LAW PROFESSOR FROM NIGERIA IS A REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER IN CANADA UNTIL 2029 UNIVERSITY RECEIVES A FAILING GRADE IN BACKGROUND CHECKS LAKEHEAD UNIVERSITY HIRED A LAW TEACHER WHO IS NOT EVEN A MEMBER OF THE LAW SOCIETY OF ONTARIO LOCAL MEDIA ARE REFUSING TO INFORM PUBLIC AGAIN. LOCAL TAXPAYER SUBSIDIZED MEDIA LIKE TBNEWSWATCH & CBC HAVE DEMONSTRATED A PATTERN OF HIDING INFORMATION FROM THE PUBLIC Universities in Ontario & Canada generally do background checks on potential employees. NOT IN THUNDER BAY Lakehead University -Bora Laskin Faculty of Law (401 Red River Road) quietly hired an Assistant Professor of Law in July 2024. A 42y/o NGOZI SUNDAY NWOKO (May11/83) was hired and taught Contracts, Torts & Property Law. NWOKO is originally from Nigeria and obtained his Master of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Toronto. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Abia State University, Nigeria. Prior to attending Osgoode Hall Law School, he was with the Upstream Tax Department of ExxonMobil in Nigeria. He pursued his Doctorate in Law at the University of Victoria in British Columbia. NWOKO was hired despite the fact that he received negative ratings on ratemyprofessor.com from students at the University of Victoria. ratemyprofessors.com/professor/2767… Many Lakehead Law students questioned NWOKO’S teaching and intrapersonal skills. Some students did some research and learned he was a convicted rapist. ratemyprofessors.com/professor/3088… NWOKO was criminally charged on July28/15 for sexually assaulting a woman on July22/15. NWOKO was convicted by Justice Leslie Pringle in the Ontario Court of Justice in Toronto on Jan5/18. NWOKO was sentenced on May16/18 to 90 days in jail and 18 months probation. He was placed on the Sex Offender Registry (SOIRA) for 10 years and received a 10 year weapon prohibition order. A DNA Order was also imposed. NWOKO filed for appeal in the Superior Court of Justice following his sentencing. His appeal was dismissed by Superior Court Justice P. Andras Schreck on April17/19. The reasons for the dismissal can be read in the following link: canlii.org/en/on/onsc/doc… A call to the Ontario Court of Appeal has confirmed that NWOKO has never pursued an appeal there. Sources indicate that word began to spread recently about a Registered Sex Offender teaching law at Lakehead University. A search of the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) website shows that NWOKO is not even a licensed lawyer. It’s unlikely he would ever receive a license to practice, as his criminal record would most likely not meet the good character requirements. Law students at Lakehead University learned this week that NWOKO is now on leave from school. It is not known if he is still receiving his salary. Lakehead University remains silent on this. It would seem they failed to perform a thorough background check before hiring NWOKO. Apparently, L.U. hasn’t learned anything since their disastrous hiring of former Law School Dean Angelique Townsend AKA Eaglewoman (or Eagleperson?) Law students in Thunder Bay deserve better than a Registered Sex Offender as a teacher. Especially the young female students & staff. Was no one else available to be hired who wasn’t a convicted rapist? Or was this a DEI hire? It seems we may never know. The silence from Lakehead University is deafening. NWOKO is still listed on the University website despite being on leave. How many other teachers at Lakehead University are convicted rapists? lakeheadu.ca/users/N/nnwoko It’s often said that sunshine is the best disinfectant. But, local media were notified and chose to purposely keep the public in the dark. They aren’t real media, they are taxpayer funded Liberal propaganda that constantly refuse to inform the public about Registered Sex Offenders.

SIX YEAR VOID OF NEWS IN THUNDER BAY RIP PINO DEMASI REMEMBER THAT TIME WHEN AN OVERWEIGHT, DISABLED CEMENT FINISHER RAN THE MOST POPULAR NEWS WEBSITE IN THUNDER BAY? WE REMEMBER! PINO DEMASI launched THE REAL CONCERNED CITIZENS of THUNDER BAY news website in January of 2018. Within 10 months, it became the most popular news website in Northwest Ontario. He dethroned taxpayer subsidized Dougall Media’s TBnewswatch website, CBC & all others. AND IT KEPT GROWING! The citizens loved it and it kept growing. DEMASI unleashed news in real time on the public with all the details & photos with no apologies. He did the stories the legacy media refused to do. He was a genuinely nice person with a deep desire to deliver news to the public. He often did it with a sense of humour. Sadly, DEMASI was murdered on Mar29/20 at the age of 36. The news scene in Thunder Bay hasn’t been the same since his passing. RIP PINO DEMASI January 12, 1984 – March 29, 2020 YOU ARE MISSED
