Several people have asked what exactly the so called “MECHANICAL TRADES” are, so let me clarify. This is how the journal is looking so far after 10 days in April. Mechanical trades include every trade the system gives me. If it is an H1/M5 short - I share it. H12/H1 long - I share it. H4/M15 long - I share it. In short, every valid setup from the system gets posted. At the moment, these trades are purely for backtesting purposes. Last month, they delivered over 80R in profit, and this month I have started sharing them in a dedicated channel created specifically for them, with separate topics to keep things organized and easier to follow. For now, these are paper trades - I am not taking them. The goal is to gather more data. If performance remains as strong as last month, I plan to start taking them on my $100K @breakoutprop account. So far, one thing is becoming clear: by waiting only for ultra high confluence setups, I may be leaving a lot of money on the table. My current rules might actually be limiting my profitability. That said, it is still too early to draw firm conclusions after just 15 trades. I will have much more data by the end of the month, but for now, the results look very promising.
