Here to humbly add my mountains to the competition. Cape Breton Island (this island of fog in Mi’kmaq), where the oldest part of the Appalachias meet an island that is so old that it pre dates any documentations and was only known as folklore.

I have the iPhone 17 Pro Max. :) The trick is to keep the phone as steady as possible, best in a tripod or something sturdy. Zoom in, wait for the focus, then snap. It was hazy last night, so I had to clean it up as best as possible. It’s truly not that great of an image. I used my Orion Newtonian Astrograph and my iPhone for this shot. Tricky.

@TMCPoetry Samsung or IPhone? The zoom on my iPhone isn’t that great, but I hear the Pro is better. Great shot, though!

@notmondiesman My phone. But as a photographer, I’ve changed my settings on the phone itself to snap photos better.
