A lot of you reached out today asking whether, given the current market, we were still going to move forward. The answer is simple: YES WE'LL BE THERE I’m genuinely sorry to hear about @nft_paris coming to an end. I have a lot of respect for Alex and his team, and for the work they’ve done over the years. The last two years have been hard, and when you run events at this scale, you know how real and constant the risk is, even if it’s not always visible from the outside. With NFC, continuing today is a deliberate choice, not an easy one. We’ll be here for the artists, builders, partners and teams who still want to create, meet and move things forward. And yes, despite the context, we’re preparing new things. More soon....

ZEBRA MOTHER From the series: Soy Crisol 📍 Shown at: RA Zèbres – Invisible Patterns, NOW Fest Tarragona @ElJardiDigital This piece is a tribute to my mother, who lives with a rare condition: Cystic Fibrosis with Pulmonary Complications (CFIP). The woman depicted here breathes through an oxygen tank —not as a symbol of weakness, but as an emblem of her will to live. She stands surrounded by color, thorns, moonlight, and a body that resists. The iron bars in the composition are not only medical metaphors; they evoke the oppressive reality of living with a chronic illness in Venezuela, a country where healthcare is in crisis and freedom is under siege. The yellow, blue, and red hues reflect our national flag, and the seven stars scattered in the sky point to a luminous hope that refuses to vanish. The zebra, the global symbol for rare diseases, cloaks this maternal figure like a sacred creature — rare, untamed, dignified. This piece does not ask for pity — it demands justice, memory, and poetic visibility. It is a furious tenderness carved in color. A tribute to all the mothers who breathe through pain and still manage to blossom. ✨Grateful to curator @Gala_Mirissa for her visionary eye, to @minapower_tw for her constant support and voice, and to NOW Fest Tarragona for creating spaces where art heals, reveals, and resists!!!
