@ChaosShaper It was definitely a hard decision and after we tried to explore ways to move forward without cancelling. It isn't our happiest announcement but we are confident it was the right thing to do

Terraria OW's development has cancelled? Never expected this end...
I've been waiting and looking forward to the game so bad for a couple of years and thought they would eventually make it, but all what I got as the result was nothing.

@russenkohl@silentrim@zzzack15Zach Money wasn't a huge factor here. In the end, it was "Do we LOVE this game?" "Is this the game we set out to make?" and when the answer was no, we had to consider how best to move forward. Releasing a title that falls short of our standards was not an option.
