Losing sucks. It stings. Feel cheated having your All American get hurt 2 minutes into the first game. There isn’t a team in the country that could overcome that. With all that said, hell of a team. Hell of a team. Hell of a season. Proud of them and excited for what TJ is doing

“It sucks because we had Final Four aspirations and to see them go down in the first couple minutes of the first game of the tournament kind of sucked the life out of us a little bit. But we still battled and competed and that’s what TJ’s teams are going to do.”

An emotional Joshua Jefferson shared his thoughts after Iowa State's Sweet 16 loss to Tennessee. Jefferson was unable to play in Iowa State's final two games after suffering an ankle sprain in the first round.
