I don't love this anime, but Ufotable does "amp up" stuff too much to the point where it hardly resembles the source material. FSN is more "grounded" than you'd think. Ufotable forgets it's an urban fantasy.

@gakamsky @KaiKai2492 @RhockoHarrison The fights in heavens feel are almost exclusively using NP's. The only fight that doesn't include it is Cu vs Cursed Arm, which was still pretty grounded. No massive explosions, no city busting. Just straight melee combat.

@firstnumberlast @DiogoORT2003 Nasu would say "servants cant transcend light speed for long durations, it would destroy their saint graph. Even brief FTL movement can damage it". Then he'll turn around and give a servant a MFTL or Infinite speed feat, say it's faster than light canonically and move on.

I haven't read or watched Invincible, but I've seen that Viltrumites are capable of easily flying across interstellar distances, so I think speed would be a HUGE problem to TM characters

Gilgamesh, one of the most powerful servants, can literally move through halted time and react to instantaneous attacks, but he lost to Shirou because he held back. It's really the same thing lol.

@firstnumberlast @DiogoORT2003 Servants are far faster than sound classification. Viltrumites in the show have scaling inconsistencies, but so do Servants. Alan dodged a Viltrumite ship that was traveling to a different galaxy. Viltrumites have gone relative to him. They can also cross planets in seconds.
