Off to the races! 💨 Texas Tech and @LubbockISD partnered on a STEM project involving races and student-built vehicles. For two of this year's mentors, it was a chance to pay it forward from their time as middle schoolers in the program.

Eight middle school teams turned out for the Texas Tech/Lubbock ISD Middle School STEM Challenge this morning at Monterey High School’s track. Students designed self-powered derby cars this week and raced them as the conclusion of the event.
