@IGN It’s definitely awkward for Western fans, but they’re 'second cousins' and second cousin marriage is legal in Japan and the US. Capcom is likely catering to the Japanese 'childhood friend' trope and didn't realize how much the 'adoptive sibling' angle would weird people out
