The Leafs cannot afford to overpay Tavares just because there is a lack of centre options on the FA market. Play hardball w the price ($4M or less) or get creative on the trade front.

I want to win. I don't care how it looks. I love Vlad and Bo. 6 years, 0 playoff wins. Simple as that. If this is the end and it's time for a reset, so be it. I'm not gonna pretend that we're saying goodbye to an amazing era of baseball headlined by those two, because it wasn't.

At the end of the day, me personally, I root for the city of Toronto and the name on the front of the jersey. Not the name on the back. No single player or duo of players leaving will ever cause me to abandon my fandom. With or without Vlad Jr, it doesn't matter to me.
