Yesterday I completed my 6th and FINAL placement of training in Stroke Psychology. I have loved every minute of my time there and feel so fortunate to be returning to the same wonderful department and field I’m so passionate about in 3 weeks as Dr Tabitha West! #dclinpsy

I am over the moon to finally be able to say that my thesis amendments have been accepted 🥹 All that’s left of training is a week of my wonderful final placement, and two final teaching days to close this three-year long chapter! #dclinpsy

I realised in the middle of supervision today that it was my final ever supervision as a Trainee Clinical Psychologist 🤯 #dclinpsy

Final end of placement assessment of the dclinpsy completed and passed ✅✨ only a couple more weeks of placement left before annual leave followed by the last two days of teaching. Newly qualified life is fast approaching— excited to have my weekends to myself

In just 4 weeks I’ll have finished the DClinPsy and be in Greece to celebrate, before starting as Dr Tabitha in my dream role as a Clinical Psychologist in stroke services. Grateful is an understatement. Relieved and exhausted are also understatements 😆

I resubmitted my thesis with amendments today. Please can we manifest that they are accepted? 🤞🏻🔮 #dclinpsy

@ZoeVx This is very helpful! I cannot believe how many typos or formatting errors I have noticed since reading it through again! Fresher eyes noticing what I had missed before submission, I suppose! Thanks so much!

@TabithaPsych I printed mine and went through with red pen where I noticed errors and then added reflections critically reading my paper. Thinking about the broader context your research sits within helps. Generally you’ll know your research though! Good luck!

I have taken the next 3 days off to prep for my viva on Friday. If anybody has any words of viva prep wisdom, please send them my way 😅 #dclinpsy #vivavoce

This time next week I’ll be mid-viva and the anxiety has hit rather prematurely 😅

Yesterday was our #DClinPsy research conference. It was such a pleasure to be there to support my cohort present the projects they have all worked so hard on for the last 3 years. I am feeling very proud of everybody in Cohort 2022!

That’s 6/6 mid-placement reviews, complete ✅ It genuinely feels like yesterday I was going into my first MPR, anxious and uncertain as to what it would be like! #dclinpsy
