2/3 Two recent examples Example 1: My reporting on charges, arraignment, bail & incarceration (drawn from court + DOC records) appears alongside a page that simply summarized a later police press release. Example 2: My week-long investigation based on indictment records + DA inquiries was quickly followed by an SEO summary page on a high-authority domain. It’s not about accuracy. Google treats fundamentally different production methods as interchangeable.

1/3 The issue Google Search for “New Rochelle stabbing” blends my original court/on-scene reporting with press-release summaries and SEO/parasite pages on high-authority domains. Results don’t distinguish reporting effort or source quality — even though Google says it supports local journalism.
