Join us this month as we learn and explore more about Black history. Black History month was created by a historian named Carter G. Woodson and was initially only a week long celebration. He had written more than a dozen books about Black history.

We are so proud of our @TalonTechPHS student, Brittany! We had an embroidery machine donated a few months ago and she took it on as her project. She went from “this needs a power cord” to a beautiful final product. (She also made her shirt 🤩)

We are so excited for our next Make and Take event! Our next theme is Craft your Heart Out, where you can make custom earrings and keychains!

Sigh... I’m working on making a video for a class but I need a green screen. If only there was a green screen in the Makerspace that I could reserve... OH WAIT! There is! :-)

This morning, Josh with @TalonTechPHS came out and said “hey, Mrs. Hutt, this is broken but I think I can fix it. Can I try?”...5 minutes later he said “I fixed it!” 🤩

We are hosting a Make it Move Challenge this week @ProsperHS. Students will have all week to invent something that moves using @littleBits. Thank you to @TalonTechPHS for facilitating!

This is easily my favorite thing we’ve made so far this year. We learned 100% of the things it took to create it from @TalonTechPHS, which makes it even better!

Jack has unofficially become the Nest’s mascot and participated in #phshomecomingweek spirit day. Thanks to @TalonTechPHS interns Sydney and Grace for making sure he was dressed for each day!

Our @TalonTechPHS intern, Miranda, designed and drew our new logo. Using tools from our Makerspace, we were able to use it to make @JohnMBurdett his very own shirt.

A2: Our kids in @TalonTechPHS have been able to utilize Google Chat to stay in contact, share ideas, collaborate, and help our teachers! Without this simple but effective piece of technology, our lines of communication would not be as fluid. #prosper4ward
