the simplest way to describe it is as if a vocal synthesizer was made from their voice (w consent), like a vocaloid, for pitch. NOT generating vocals.
can we start researching stuff before spreading misinformation that can harm disabled people? 🙃

i was in a dance class with a wheelchair user before. it was their first class and they kept apologising bc the choreo needed to be adapted for them and they couldn't keep up. i hope they see more things like this so they know that dancing is for them too ♡

Big Ocean's vocal audio is created using their recorded vocals and an assistive programme the company developed which is trained on their voice data for targeted pitch correction retaining full pronunciation and character of their voice. They sing live in Sign language.
