Professor Welshman Ncube is not why the opposition is dead. Tsvangirai died having united the opposition. Then someone pulled it asunder. Start there. Sikhala, Biti, Mwonzora, Khuphe, Ngarivhume, Madhuku all can’t be wrong and your horse is right. Judas yes, but all disciples?

ZANU PF has become the official opposition to ZANU PF. To the official but ZANU-RISED CCC, my words to you are few but deeply vulgar. Whatever vulgar words came to your mind, treat those as my words to you. In the meantime, NO to CAB3

Two days ago many of us condemned Wiknell for attempting to pay our Parliamentarians to influence them, and most Varakashi defended this blantant bribery of Parliament. Now ZANU PF youth league has denounced this attempt to bring of our Parliament into disrepute. All of a sudden varkashi have erased their posts supporting Wiknell and now they are standing in support with ZANU PF youth league. I have never seen people with no backbones or self agency like varakashi. If only they knew that such flip-flopping does not endear them to their principals but it makes them liabilities who offer no wise counsel. It’s better to be unpopular while offering those you care for wise advice.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗢 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗗𝗢 𝗜𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧’𝗦 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦? In the past two weeks, our Members of Parliament who are deliberating over the public submissions on the constitutional amendment bill 3 (CAB3) have met with the President’s advisor, Paul Tungwarara, and now it is alleged that Wiknell Chivayo, another associate of the President, has pledged to give them a gift of $3.6 million. Is this not a conflict of interest or, in the worst case, lubrication (a bribe) that opens up MPs’ deliberations on CAB3 to manipulation? Our Parliament is meant to be a law-making body that also serves as a self-regulating oversight body of the separate arms of state: the Presidency, judiciary, and Parliament itself, through the differing political parties and ideologies in the legislature. Now, if parliamentarians are going to be serenaded and given undue monies by associates of the President and people who do business with the state, at a time they are meant to be deliberating on amendments to the Constitution that give the President a term extension and make them [parliament] responsible for selecting the President, what are the chances that they are going to make impartial decisions on this amendment? Part of why many people are not comfortable with the CAB3 amendment is that it gives these same Parliamentarians the responsibility of selecting the President, and there is a fear that such a system allows them to be bribed and bought by wealthy people to elect them as President. Now, while parliamentarians are still in the process of deliberating over this contentious amendment of the Constitution, we are already seeing them being given financial inducements by associates of the President and people who do business with the state. How does this build confidence in the Bill or parliament? What is the reason for MPs being given these monies by private businesspeople, and in line with the principle of quid pro quo (something for something) what do they have to do in return for these unearned gifts? What happens when the same parliamentarians are offered more money by someone else to make a different decision?

I believe the Rudo here is the late Squadron Leader Rudo Mutikani. I understand she joined the war when she was 14. There is a reason why I have a deep respect for real war veterans. Apart from the fact that my father is one, it's knowing that those who really fought for this country did without the cunning & calculative intent for power. They genuinely fought for Zimbabwe. Most were child soldiers. I am glad that @rtapfumaneyi is giving these gallant sons and daughters the platform to speak for themselves. I have watched countless episodes, and you can tell those who fought don't brag about war. Majority of those who were at the front had little education. Most of them came back to a country that prioritized those who didn't fight. A country whose reconcilliation policies even favored those who had collaborated or served the colonial regime. Cde Rudo could not write her own name and it took the intervention of Perrance Shiri. How many of the thousands who came from the bush were in the same boat. From what I gather, there was no career guidance. The lucky ones had someone telling them to go back to school but a lot fell through the cracks. I have seen a lot of disdain being laid upon them especially after the ZW$50K which by the time they got it was equivalent to USD4000 (Present day $8,229.00). It was a bribe by a failed government which had ignored their plight for over 17 years. When you look at the sacrifice of war, that amount is nothing. Our government failed to foresee the challenges of civilian integration and did not prepare these folk for life in the independent Zimbabwe. They bred a crop of dependents when they could have eased them into independence. Every interview is a comrade wallowing in poverty. In other countries, there are military hospitals, veterans preferential programs , loans etc and civilians don't complain about it because they have a better life courtesy of the sacrifices of their veterans. In our country, civilians are poor. When they have sought an alternative government, ZANU PF has used some of the dependent veterans to suppress the will of the people. That has negated all the good sacrifices the war veterans did during the war. Now, civilians feel like veterans don't deserve any respect nor preferential or affirmitive programs. But, as you listen to the stories of those who actually fought, you realize they too are victims of the same regime. It is not too late for the few that remain to do right by the people. As long as they remain on the sidelines or propping the Mnangagwa regime, they will die as paupers while thieves grow caterpillar bellies.

The concern about political actors engaging minors without parental awareness or consent is valid, and church leadership must account for their decisions. But we lose the argument when it shifts to dehumanising language, “devil worshipping”, “filthy lucre”, and “Bloody Illuminati”. And from churchfolk and leaders in society, that kind of rhetoric doesn’t strengthen the case; it deepens division and normalises hostility.
Thabani Mpofu@adv_fulcrum

Yesterday afternoon I was sitting at home after church thinking, “Great, Zimbabwe gets to rest today; its troublemakers are at church worshipping God in the manner they deem best.” My children were attending a church camp and there I was believing they were having a good time with the Lord. I was at peace for once—a rarity. A few minutes later I found out Kuda Tagwirei— who has nothing to do with the children’s department in my church — was at their camp, addressing my kids, having been smuggled in by a compromised, devil worshipping, greedy for filthy lucre bottom feeding leadership which has lost all sense of common decency and shame. I hear he was the GUEST OF HONOUR, whatever nonsense that is. These guys have no qualms about donating the innocence of our children to an unprincipled politician who is happy to make the church his primary political constituency. (We now know that a few hours later he was addressing AFM Youths at their own gathering. All political posturing being enabled by churches) There is need for these churches to be dealt with politically. They are playing politics and must be content with a political response. On my part, whoever took the decision to expose my children to this impurity will face my punishment before the year ends. It’s deeply personal. This no longer has anything to do with worship. Bloody Illuminati.

𝗜 𝗔𝗠 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡 𝗭𝗜𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗕𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗨𝗡𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗, 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚.😉 Look, I understand that ZANU PF has developed a bad reputation for killing opponents who differ with it or its leaders, and I agree that they haven’t painted themselves in glory by being associated with violence and arbitrary arrests, but let me remind you: 1. Jonathan Moyo was once very anti-ZANU PF, and eventually he was made a member of ZANU PF. 2. In 2004, Jonathan Moyo, Phillip Chiyangwa, the current President ED Mnangagwa, Mujuru, and various others had a Tsholosho conference to talk about the removal of Robert Mugabe, against party policy, but they all remained members of ZANU PF without being killed. 3. Today you've seen Tsenegamo spill the beans, leave and come back along with many others. 4. You've seen them make up and work in harmony with the same opposition that called for sanctions. 5. Furthermore, I am currently in Zimbabwe, and no harm has come upon me despite my criticism of ZANU PF and its senior leaders. This illustrates that ZANU PF, unlike its reputation, can be tolerant of criticism, but it just hasn't done enough to eliminate the incidents that create the perception that they're intolerant to criticism. If I survive jail and retribution for my criticism of CAB3, I think I would become the poster figure of their tolerance for divergent views and criticism. If I am persecuted then you are right. Let time tell.

I have no right to British citizenship. My ancestors first came to Africa in the 1600s as refugees fleeing religious persecution in France. Legally, Zimbabwe is the only country on this earth I can call home. And I love Zimbabwe! 🇿🇼💚Thank you to the kind lady speaking up for me.

So a black Zimbabwean defends @DougColtart claiming Zimbabwe is his (Coltart's) only home? The British have always looked out for their kith and kin. Coltart's British ancestry means he has a choice to go back to the UK 🇬🇧 which black Zimbabweans don't have

His modus is simple. Steal money from the state and dole it to PR trolls so that they create a false image. And do that again. Capture a church. Pay its leaders off the payroll so that they can defend your nonsense. And do that again. Give every influencer a car. Push them into leading narratives in the spaces they occupy so that your image is cleaned up. And do that again. There’s just no way that thing can be anyone’s President. NEVER!

Just for the record, here is the 10% payment paid to Maponga (Farmers of Thought) on the 6th of April, 2022. This was after the first payment made was made for the work done by the lawyers in the first month of work. The full amount required was $6 million to fight the full fight against the U.S. President, Secretary of State, Speaker of Congress, banks in South Africa and the Banking Association of South Africa.
