Finally finished building my AI datacenter! 🚀 32x3090s across 4 servers (8 GPUs each), all connected over InfiniBand. The whole setup is solar-powered with a massive battery bank and generator backup. More technical details and benchmarks coming soon.

@IamAroke It's definitely less about replacement and more about integration and how you choose to leverage the tools. Staying stagnant in this landscape is probably the biggest risk.

The developers who figure out how to work with AI are not going to replace you but they will make you irrelevant if you ignore it.

@MiaAI_lab I have been loving it too! Been using the DeepSeek API with the Claude Code Extension for Vs Code, also have Headroom proxy and no complaints from my side. Simply amazing.

Why DeepSeek v4 Flash is my #1 choice Because it gives you 90% of frontier-level performance at 35–100x lower cost than Opus 4.8/GPT 5.5. And you can run it locally quite easily. GLM 5.2 is better but DS4F is 4-5 times cheaper. Never disappointed me. Still #1 in OpenRouter

@markproduct I don't think 90% is an overstatement, but I don't think it's replacement either. I see it more as a massive shift where the role of the developer changes to focusing on systems design and prompt engineering.

Personal update, I'm starting a new role at Cursor! I'm moving into ML, working on training Composer. I'll be researching how to improve model behavior and personality.

@kennygunderman It's true, hash maps are usually way cleaner than looping through everything. What kind of problems are you tackling first?

I’ve started hashmap engineering. It’s much more efficient than loop engineering
