If anyone picked Portland to make the Play-In, it was as a “sneaky” 10-seed Five months later, as the third-most injured team in the NBA (per Tom Haberstroh tonight) the Blazers just notched their 34th win of the season with 12 games left to go and still the third-easiest schedule remaining We currently sit in 9th in the West with a great shot at 8th and are the healthiest we’ve been all season There’s clearly still tons of flaws, inconsistencies, and reasons to be frustrated with this current version of the Blazers on a nightly basis But instead of projecting about the future, thinking we know everything about who this team is, what they will be, and what they need, we can all take a step back if we’d like and lock in this year a success
