MG just dropped a lawsuit on Anthropic, claiming its AI learned from copyrighted lyrics by The Rolling Stones, Bruno Mars, and Ariana Grande without permission. Anthropic says it’s “fair use.” The music industry says it’s “not your lyrics to use.” As AI models get smarter, the legal lines around training data are getting blurrier and louder. Turns out, teaching AI to sing along might come with a very real bill. Content Source: Reuters Media Source: The Rolling Stone Disclaimer: The content and images are for educational use only. “Smartphone apps will disappear,” says Carl Pei. Instead of juggling apps, AI agents could soon handle everything, messages, bookings, tasks, with a single prompt. It sounds efficient. It also sounds like apps might be quietly preparing their farewell speech. If this shift happens, the real question isn’t what app to open, it’s which AI to trust. @nvidia is bringing data center-level AI power straight to desktops. The DGX Station GB300 lets developers run massive AI models locally, while NemoClaw makes always-on AI agents easier and safer to manage. Early adopters like Andrej Karpathy are already using it to turn AI ideas into experiments faster. With DGX Station, the frontier of AI isn’t just in the cloud anymore — it’s on the desk. AI can already remember text but now it’s learning to remember what it sees! Memories.ai is building a visual memory layer for wearables and robotics, using NVIDIA tools to store and recall videos. The idea came from building the AI behind Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses, where founders Shen and Ben Zhou realized AI would be far more useful if it could remember real-life videos. The company, launched in 2024, has raised $16M and created its Large Visual Memory Model (LVMM), with partnerships like Qualcomm to run it efficiently. The aim? Smarter AI that can “see and remember,” opening new possibilities for wearables and robotics. @Samsung just pulled the curtain back on HBM4E at @nvidia GTC 2026—and it’s not just another chip upgrade. It’s a clear signal that the AI race is now about speed, scale and smarter infrastructure. With tighter ties to NVIDIA, Samsung is betting big on powering the next wave of AI—from massive data centers to devices closer to you. Faster memory, better efficiency and bigger ambitions. Because in AI, it’s not just about building models anymore—it’s about how fast you can feed them. AI videos are moving fast, but the legal questions are catching up just as quickly. ByteDance’s Seedance 2.0 quickly went viral after generating cinematic clips featuring famous actors. However, the technology also triggered strong backlash from Hollywood studios worried about copyright and actor likeness. Studios including Disney sent legal notices, pushing ByteDance to pause its global rollout while it works on stronger safeguards. The moment highlights a growing challenge for AI video tools: balancing creativity with copyright protection. The AI race is starting to change how tech companies operate. @Meta is reportedly considering layoffs that could affect over 20% of its workforce as it increases spending on AI and data centers. The step shows the company’s growing focus on building stronger AI capabilities for the future. CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been encouraging teams to move faster in generative AI, noting that AI tools are already helping smaller teams get work done that once needed larger groups. At the same time, Meta plans to invest around $600 billion in data centers by 2028 and is offering big pay packages to attract top AI researchers. Across the tech industry, companies like Amazon and Block have also reduced staff, saying AI is helping smaller teams do more work. @Apple may have just built its most repairable MacBook in over a decade. The new MacBook Neo introduces a more accessible internal design, modular USB-C ports and a battery secured with screws instead of glue, making one of the most common laptop repairs far easier than before. Repair testing also revealed no major parts pairing restrictions when swapping components like displays, batteries or even Touch ID modules, thanks to Apple’s Repair Assistant calibration tool. However, the budget-friendly laptop still comes with trade-offs. RAM and storage remain soldered to the board, meaning users must live with the configuration they buy. The device also uses the A18 Pro chip from the iPhone 16 Pro and features simpler speakers and a mechanical trackpad to reduce costs. With pricing starting at $499 for schools, Apple is clearly targeting the education market—where Chromebooks currently dominate U.S. classrooms. By making repairs easier, the company may be hoping to win over school IT departments that prioritize devices students can fix instead of replace. Australia passed the world's first teen social media ban. @tiktok_us and @Snapchat said they would comply. Regulators said they would enforce it. And 1 in 5 Australian teens said, watch me. Two months in, 21% are still on TikTok. 20% never left Snapchat. The fines are real. The law is real. The scrolling? Also, very real. This is what happens when governments move fast, and platforms move slow, and teenagers move faster than both. Journalist Julia Angwin is suing Grammarly after its AI feature used writers’ names to simulate editorial feedback without permission, sparking a wider privacy-rights fight. The paid tool made it seem like users were receiving editorial feedback from figures such as Stephen King, Carl Sagan, and Kara Swisher, even though Grammarly reportedly never got permission from the experts included. Angwin says the company violated the privacy and publicity rights of her and other writers it impersonated. The backlash intensified after critics called the feedback generic, raising questions about why real identities were used at all. Grammarly has now disabled the feature, but the controversy has opened a bigger debate around AI, consent, identity, and the commercialization of human expertise online. Scam calls won’t just bother you anymore, because now they can’t bother your family either! @Truecaller's feature lets one member become a family admin, get scam alerts, block risky numbers, and even hang up on scammers for others on Android. The feature isn’t entirely new. Truecaller first tested Family Protection in December 2025 across Sweden, Chile, Malaysia, and Kenya. After seeing strong results, the company has now expanded it worldwide including India, its biggest market. It’s free, secure, and already rolling out worldwide to make your family’s calls safer, smarter, and scam-free. @OpenAI said yes to the Pentagon. Anthropic said no. And 2.5 million ChatGPT users said goodbye. The #QuitGPT movement went viral and triggered the biggest mass exodus in AI history. ChatGPT uninstalls spiked 295% in a single day. Claude jumped to #1 on the US App Store. And the conversation around who you trust with your data just changed forever. This all started with one deal that OpenAI probably wishes it had never signed. Content Source: NDTV Media Source: Instagram Disclaimer: The content and images are for educational use only. @Lovable's latest update shows a company widening its reach while keeping its message simple. The startup officially crossed $400 million in ARR in February and is staying focused on helping builders scale their impact, instead of reaffirming a $1 billion goal. That builder story still targets mainstream users through Earworm, a new campaign where a catchy song becomes a working app made with Lovable itself. At the same time, the enterprise push is getting clearer. Clients already include Klarna and HubSpot, while CEO Anton Osika says more than half of Fortune 500 companies use Lovable to supercharge creativity. March 8 brought a sharp usage jump, too, with over 500,000 projects built or updated in a single day during SheBuilds on International Women's Day alone.
