@pt @villi I think a lot of places just left those signs up around Alameda. Most people aren't masked anymore with the exception of the last month due to everything that's been going around. We've had covid, rsv and a few other viruses in the last 2-3 months.

@villi All I know is 100% of the kids who have come over to my house to visit our kids have been masked. Several of them have parents who are medical professionals. I haven’t been denied entry to a store yet, but I went to one that was closed & they had a sign requiring masks still.

The cheesesteak is the most American food item that exists. Just meat, bread, and the most unnatural but tasty cheese possible. Perfect. It is a shame this is a regional cuisine. It should be everywhere.

@pt In Southeastern PA every (not fancy) Italian restaurant has a passable cheese steak. Those types of Italian restaurants just don't exist out in the Bay Area. We get the crappy chains like IBs which I will eat because I'm an addict.

This is so damn real. Both kids have had some kind of terrible cough & random symptoms for almost two months now. Is it RSV? Fifth disease? 7 colds? Welcome back present from COVID? Doctors have no idea. All other parents & kids at our schools are the same. #MaskUp
