Friday night I received the worst call ever. My brother was found unalived in his apartment ,due to a self inflicted gunshot wound. The last thing he said to me was he loves me forever, Thursday morning. He leaves behind his 12 year old daughter, myself and my older sister. We lost our parents as children and we were all we had. I’m distraught and his daughter is broken. I’m speechless and I wish he knew he deserved better. Mental health is real. I NEVER ask for anything, but I need help. I’ve reached out to the NYKX community and I just want to say whatever anyone can help with HELPS. I’m just grateful I’m not alone in this. I’m scared, I wish he would have called me and I just don’t wish this on anyone. Check on your loved ones. He was the happiest person, always cracking a joke- yet here I am writing this post.
