@colonelhogans My daughter works at an auto parts store. She’s been there for over a year. She’d never sold a Jerry can until two weeks ago. She sold 14 that day
Greg Sheridan goes on about drilling Australia for more oil/gas re petro crisis. But with Murdochian intellectual dishonesty he ignores/dismisses decarbonisation as the only viable market-driven answer to liberate us from corrupt global cartels and to conserve earth’s biosphere.
Half a million in London today. The largest anti-far right march in British history.
56 billionaires own more than 27 million of us. They built the crisis, bankrolled the hate, and bought Reform UK.
The streets belong to us - not to Farage, not to Musk, not to their money.

@Ryandally08 That’s true. With social media people can remind others of his past lies. Which is why he wants to control it and stamp out any other free speech
#BREAKING Anthony Albanese says that One Nation runs on problems “the problem is that this person doesn’t look like you” he adds “they run on division”
He then blames the “social media algorithm for mistrust in Government”
I think the mistrust is in him
@aaronsmith Surely you need to factor in the price of EV at the time and the increased power bills that would have been required to build out the now obsolete charging infrastructure (are you forgetting about newer standards) ? The current fuel price would be nothing compared to those costs
If Aus had embraced EV adoption in 2019, rather than caving to Morrison’s scare campaign, fewer Australians would be getting slugged $2.50 a litre for fuel today.
The Liberals lack of vision ages badly, and Australians wear the cost for years.
@luke_amott@TheAusInstitute@AmyRemeikis Australias easygoing banter and way of life has already been being destroyed by parties controlling freedom of speech and association and weaponising feelings as a future political tool
So I blame the media for the popularisation of one nation. They should be warning of the danger that one nation poses to Australia’s way of life and they should be putting them back in the garbage. I’m not too worried because by the time the election is actually called one nation will do what they always do. Come third and become even more irrelevant as well.
“The normalisation of One Nation, through reality TV, breakfast TV slots and inclusion as a serious political player in Australia has been media-driven, dressed up as the people’s choice,” writes @AmyRemeikis, Chief Political Analyst.

@TheAusInstitute@AmyRemeikis The issue really is the abnormalities within the other parties, where extreme left authoritarianism now reigns supreme , and traditional protections and rights Australians thought they would always have are stripped away without debate
@eevblog From Australia- but not mainstream fake news - Sanctuary city policies are set up to defy US migration law and federal governance . In addition state leaders routinely lie about violent demonstrations and imply they were peaceful. Local police are instructed to not assist.
Question for Americans from a dumb Aussie about the Minnesota thing.
Obama used ICE to deport approx 3M illegals, and got the nickname "Deporter in Chief". And he wasn't even voted in on doing that. There were some protests, but nothing even remotely violet or crazy.
Why is now everyone so violet and crazy? Is there any other explanation apart from Orange Man Bad?
@janet_selma@TruthFairy131@PamelaS92711122 Imagine the entitlement of going to another country and demanding its citizens be jailed if they offend you accidentally or not
@TruthFairy131@PamelaS92711122 He is right though. I am a Kiwi in Aus, and have always found many Australians racist. Even had nasty comments said to my face, especially when I first arrived here ,& my accent was stronger, gave me away as a Kiwi.
Albo is upset that Australians are commenting mean things on his social media posts.
He avoids speaking to the public, brings in laws to silence & censor Aussies then plays victim when Aussies use their only option available to share their frustration with the man that is harming our people & destroying our nation.
Narcissistic Dictator.
Jacinta Allen is exactly the same, she even blocked me. Coward🙄
@TruthFairy131 He is so against free speech he made sure even parliament could not debate the laws for arbitrarily targeting anybody with a false hate speech charge
@ausvstheagenda Democracy is dangerous for social cohesion, and free speech and protests are vital for democracy so these are shut down. Australia never had democracy according to Chris. Not since the Rum Rebellion
NSW Premier Chris Minns says he supports Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon’s extended blanket ban on protests for another 14 days and cannot guarantee it won’t be extended again, potentially preventing protests on Australia Day.
Pressed on why she described far-right neo-Nazis as “far-left”, Sussan Ley says these are just “political concepts” and can be framed however you like. 🤔
I don’t think so, Sussan. Left neo-Nazis?

@FIGJAM078@Wyckoff_ape1@strangerous10 Of course they were. They were allied with the German right for the purposes of seizing power but were very socialist in many of their goals. State power seizing the education system, the collective being embraced more than the individual, removal of many property rights etc
@jawmeister@Wyckoff_ape1@strangerous10 Both idealize the power of the state (or collective) over the individual.
For a socialist state we can look at Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge for example , where hatred of the elites whipped up by belief in “equity” and equality resulted in humiliation rituals
@Wyckoff_ape1@strangerous10 There's a big difference in the ideologies of National Socialism (Nazis) and those of socialism. Don't be the lazy echo of what you think you know or might have heard. Read political history, do some research and think critically, you pillock. Otherwise stfu with your stupidity.
@TheAusInstitute@EmmaShortis The endless propaganda from the media about trump is clearly working on Australians who are remarkably misinformed on most issues out of the USA especially by the ABC
The majority of Australians support a more independent foreign policy, according to Australia Institute polling.
"Australians are really concerned about what's happening in the US."
"It's a direct response to Trump & what he is doing," says Dr @EmmaShortis on After America.
@ausvstheagenda We also need to arrest anyone with hateful communist ties - given it’s history in places like Cambodia . I think we can eventually use these laws to arrest anyone that ever espoused communist ideals
NSW Premier Chris Minns says having a Nazi symbol tattooed on your body constitutes hate speech, condemning the tattoo artist involved.
NSW Police have arrested and charged a man for allegedly displaying hate symbol tattoos at a Newcastle beach last night.
