@Terrabight2 I'm not sure about that. I think they want to see what happens in draft. If they get a OL at 5 or 37, then they will roll with what they have as reserves I think. If they don't get plug & play starter at 5 or 37 for OL I think they add one more vet to mix and possibly start

1. Trade back to 7-10 & select Downs or Sonny if they fall & get extra draft picks or CB1
2. Sonny at 5
3. Downs at 5
4. Love at 5
*** those 3 are blue chip prospects w top 5 at position upside & all pro ceilings
5. Mauigoa at 5
6. Delane or McCoy at 5
One thing I don't want at 5 is C Tate, don't need to spend that high of an asset on a #2 WR
Pick 37- attack OG or DT (whichever one it is not- sign GVR or Zeitler or DT S Harris or Reader)

I think they want to move down.
A few days ago I thought no they’ll take Styles but I definitely think it’s trade down as the 1st option as I’ve said for months now.

@BrojoNYGiants I’ve been going through this scenario in my head. If we go back to 9 and all 3 edges go before 9, we’re left with one of styles, downs, delane, love and mauigoa. Would be happy w any of them.

If the Chiefs are moving up to 5- it's probably to secure Reuben Bain (or one of the top 3 edge rushers)
If the Giants trade down to 9- assume all the edges are gone (which I am fine with tbh)
I still take the trade down for 40 and stay in the top 10

Trade the 5th overall pick to the Chiefs for #9 and #40. Draft Rueben Bain Jr. at 9 overall Trade Thibodeaux for a 3rd round pick You then pick at #37, #40, and whatever pick you get for Kayvon on Day 2. Start building a football team.

I'm between 3 players for Giants at pick #5 but a Caleb Downs selection would give you the opportunity to take the best non-QB player 3 years in a row.
Plus the fact that he is a perfect fit for this, really any, defense which has a major secondary issue.

@AnthonyBetss And how was he? From I’m seeing and hearing he is the equivalent of Evan Neal to their fanbase (now clearly not as bad). Also if he was so good why did he have to sign a 1 year minimum deal? I think that’s where the frustration is coming from
