Jeffrey Kessler, Brendan Sorsby’s attorney, has also sent a letter to the Big 12. Comes in the wake of Texas AG letter. A super majority of the Big 12 directors (schools) already have almost unlimited discretion to sanction Texas Tech. What’s more, they also have the authority to amend the Big 12 Bylaws at any time to specifically require the immediate suspension or dismissal of any school which knowingly plays an athlete who has admitted to placing bets on his own team.
