Locals are being priced out of their own city. One nomad was asked about the protests. She said they were coming from “low income people.” These are the same people who argue America has a moral obligation to absorb unlimited migration. And to celebrate the neighborhoods that change. They don’t oppose migration. They just never expected to be the migrants.

i’m leaving Sui after almost two years helping tens of products secure grants, win overflows and reach mainnet, i am done pretending this ecosystem is something it is not. few months ago when @blastdotfun launched, not many tokens could bond and even less reached a measly $1M MCAP showing the dearth of liquidity because community here does not exist, it was a bunch of people watching charts on @dexscreener. no users, no retention, no real PMF, it was just cycles of liquidity, hype and exit. that is not why i am here. i am done with ecosystems where speculation is the product, where foundations compete with ecosystems projects for market share. it was always supposed to be builders over traders, products over narratives and real users over temporary attention. nexa left, Tusky sunsetted and ika is building on solana, the question is who is leaving next? i want to go somewhere where they build things people actually want to use and not concepts that have no traction in real life. it was a wild ride while it lasted but everything ends one day. thank you to everyone who made my experience worth it.
