It’s because you can negotiate in moving, but with promotions, you can’t. I’ve been promoted 3 times in my life, and the max I got out of the promotion was 25% (which is great by all standards)
I’ve moved many times, and I’ve had 300% 3 times. That’s why it’s good to move if you have the quality.

As a young career person, move around. Most times, new hires see up to 30% increase in pay while those doing the same job get around 2-5% raises. Somehow, the system rewards movement.

Me: Did you take them?
Patient: I took them for a month. My sugar went down, so I was cured. Why take medicine if I don't feel sick?

we just hit 10K subscribers on youtube. and i’m confused.
everyone says it’s hard to grow on youtube. and i 100% agree.
but over the past 23 days I’ve seen my channel grow from 994 subscribers to 10,500+ right now. and it’s all because of this one video.
what did i do right in this one? i can’t point to one thing.
but this has completely shattered a wall i had in my mind. i’d seen numbers and growth like this on TikTok, IG and the rest…but never on youtube.
until now.
i think it was @manifestive that said that the song that’s a banger and has a billion streams today was still a banger when no one had heard it.
my videos are bangers.
