Weekly Prayer for the United States of America Saturday, February 7, 2026 Almighty God, Creator of nations, Judge of kings, and Keeper of truth, We come before You acknowledging that this country exists only because You have allowed it to exist. Every freedom we enjoy, every boundary that has held, every generation that has endured—none of it stands apart from Your hand. We ask You first for truth to be restored in our nation—not manufactured truth, not convenient truth, but truth that stands even when it costs something. Strip away deception, half-truths, and willful blindness, and give us eyes that see clearly again. “For nothing is hidden except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light.” — Mark 4:22 (NASB) Lord, we ask for leaders who fear You, not the crowd, not the media, not their donors. Place people in authority who understand that leadership is stewardship, and that every word and decision will one day be answered for. “By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, all who judge rightly.” — Proverbs 8:15–16 (NASB) We ask for peace without surrendering righteousness. Calm hearts that are angry, steady those who feel pushed to the edge, and keep this nation from tearing itself apart while still calling what is wrong, wrong. “If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.” — Romans 12:18 (NASB) Father, we ask for protection over our children—their minds, their bodies, and their innocence. Guard them from confusion, exploitation, and voices that seek to reshape what You created with purpose and care. “Children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward.” — Psalm 127:3 (NASB) We ask for strength and clarity for Your people. Many are tired, discouraged, and tempted to disengage. Renew our resolve to stand, to speak, and to act faithfully—without becoming bitter or hard. “But as for you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is reward for your work.” — 2 Chronicles 15:7 (NASB) Lord, we ask for repentance to begin with us—not with accusations, not with finger-pointing, but with honest hearts willing to be corrected. Shape us into people You can trust in this moment of history. “If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NASB) And finally, Sovereign Lord, we place the future of this nation in Your hands—not in fear, not in despair, but in faith. You are not absent. You are not late.
