7/9 Recommendation 2: The National Digital Literacy Mission, should specifically focus on caste-based #digitaldivide and speedy provision of access to ICT’s for the Dalit people especially Dalit women and LGBTQIA persons. The mission should also focus on providing media training.

6/9 Recommendation 1: One of the ways in which our organisation tackled the absence of safe space on digital platforms for Dalit women and LGBTQIA persons was organizing an online fellowship for them. This fellowship had people from all over India. @TheBlueClub1

5/9 But then comes hate speech in the comment sections and as memes or messages circulate on WhatsApp. They might look as personal attacks but often they target the person as a part of the Dalit community and uses casteist slurs and abuses to insult the person. #CasteHateSpeech
