BAN CATAPULT SALES! A young cygnet was killed in Surrey, and swans, ducks, gulls, even pets, are at risk. Sales are unregulated—help urge the government to restrict catapults, strengthen penalties & give police more power. Sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7291…

Please retweet @TheO2 have so far allowed 6 pigeons to die in the netting above their structure. They were notified on Thursday when there were 2 dead birds & have done nothing. Since then 4 more have died. They have a cherry picker that will reach them but choose not to use it.

@LongleyGroupLTD URGENT: A pigeon is trapped in the new library building on Bromley High Street. It’s weak and may not survive much longer. RSPCA + our volunteer couldn’t access the building, and key codes are unknown. Can you help us gain entry ASAP? Time is critical.

They’re neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to start their new lives. They could likely live in a household with existing cats or with children that are respectful towards animals. They're fostered in SE London (SE18). All adopters are subject to a home visit. 5/

It breaks our hearts that Muriel and Gus, two beautiful young cats, are still waiting for a family to call their own. Their siblings and mum have all been adopted, but Muriel and Gus- full of love and energy - are still patiently waiting for someone to see how special they are 1/

A few weeks ago I got called to rescue a fox that had wandered in through an open door, been chased by the resident cat and taken shelter in an upstairs room. A healthy fox so once retrieved was released into the garden. Donations welcome to @TheGWN_ a brilliant rescue charity!

@JustPlaneNews We gave heard that the Met Wildlife Crime Unit will be disbanded soon and any wildlife crime will be dealt with by police officers in the borough where is reported, so people will need to call 999 or 101 to report wildlife crime x.com/RoeDeerDiary/s…
Roe Deer Diary@RoeDeerDiary

The Met Police has taken the decision to disband its Wildlife Crime Unit. An effective unit consisting of two detectives, an analyst and a researcher. In a former life, I worked alongside the unit. I can't understate how effective the unit has been. A short-sighted decision.

It was great to join with others to show our frustration with Cory over their deceptive messaging. Removing 6 acres of land and offering to ‘enhance’ already rich habitat for wildlife to offset this action is frankly ridiculous. They clearly don’t care that nature is in crisis.
Erith Marshes - Save Crossness Nature Reserve!@Erith_Marshes

Friends of Crossness Nature Reserve are furious at @CoryGroupUK’s deceptive use of language! Let’s be clear concreting over 6 acres of valuable grazing marshland and ‘tarting up’ what’s left does not make more habitat: bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan…

What an exhausting evening we had, desperately trying to free a kitten trapped in a car’s innards in SE18 for over five hours, not making it home until 1AM. It was absolutely worth it, of course, to have Polo safe (named by one of the wonderful firemen who helped save his life.)

@CourtneyDCarr Polo is feral so we suspect he was born on the streets to a stray cat. He’s going to need lots of one on one attention to socialise him, but he’s becoming more comfortable around humans by the day, especially with the help of the charity founder’s special needs cat Marty.
