@MintBlitz Seems like they are chasing trends and don’t have a clear vision if all this is true. Extractions shooters aren’t doing well with the exception of Arc Raiders. And even that is losing players. Stick to the core MP and make a Battle Royale as well.

Halo 4 - COD-ified loadouts Halo 5 - Pay to Win Req Cards Halo Infinite - Open world campaign Halo Infinite - Cancelled Hero Shooter Prototype Halo Infinite - Cancelled Battle Royale Halo MP Rumour - Extraction Shooter All I’m going to say about it is please nail the core aspects of what makes Halo well.. Halo before going and jumping after the latest fad in gaming. This means a full multiplayer suite of arena, BTB and free for all modes. Robust social features, menus and customization that isn’t locked to a core system. The biggest fear I personally have is that by the time this project is even finished the extraction genre will be 2-3 years over by then. Time will tell.

@Smzagaming @linabob_ What else could they do? This one already comes with TMR sticks and 8K. I assume the only different would be the ultra is wireless.

@linabob_ I’d wait till summer for the ultra. Even tho I’m sure it will be affordable I think it’s gonna be the one worth the bang of all 3

@LoochyTV My childhood was in NC, most of my life in Dallas, and lived in St Pete FL for a year. I can tell you right now if it wasn’t for a health issue and my family living in Dallas I would choose the beach in FL 10 out of 10 times. Jmo

Yes Florida is actually horrible please don't move here. The gators, bugs, hurricanes, tornados, sinkholes, and Florida Man are not worth it. I heard the Carolinas are way better anyway.

@HisokaT42 I lived in both. Tampa/St Pete area and Dallas are both great places to live. Currently in Dallas close to Family but if I had to pick Tampa and the beach is the way to go.

@TheTrueVanguard Not every game needs to have massive numbers.

Marathon is stuck between a rock and a hard place. It's an incredibly good game, but the more casual audience seems to be avoiding it. But if they dumb the game down, it will be considerably worse and I'll likely stop playing it. It's basically a phenomenal game that doesn't appeal, I guess, to a wider audience. I'm not sure what exactly the solution is, maybe it's better strategic marketing and creative efforts to onboard new players. I'm not sure. But dumbing the game down would likely fix nothing. You might get new players to temporarily try it, but then they're playing a considerably less inspired game and will bounce off it. I also think the truly bizarre pre-launch hate campaign was SUPER weird. Like, gamers can be such strange people and I say that with peace and love. But I'm not sure I've ever seen a global predisposition to hate a game the way I saw it with Marathon. People were literally parroting the exact same sentences for months, almost like they had talking points and were collectively regurgitating them. Like the places where gamers hang out (YT, Reddit, Twitch, X, etc) had posts or something hating the game that circulated so much that people just latched onto them. I dunno. Either way, it didn't do the game any favors. I'm not sure what the best path forward is but good marketing and a positive outward image might help. And the vault wipes are definitely a good thing, that's totally necessary. But I think diluting the game to make it more palatable is the wrong play personally. Short term gain maybe, but over time will actually hurt retention I think.

@deptulahasrage It's recruiting plain and simple. He's had the right idea when it comes to recruiting, but he can't land more than 1-2 UNC caliber players per season then he gets desperate and overpays tier 2/3 talent.

Not sure I've seen many situations like the one that is happening at North Carolina regarding Hubert Davis. My understanding is the administration asked Hubert if he wants to continue, and he said emphatically yes. To let it go on for this long with no decision is not fair to anyone. At this point it would be very very difficult to bring him back. He would enter next season under a huge cloud. Usually the best strategy in this situation is to rip the Band-Aid off and make a decision one way or the other. To let it linger for this long is unnecessary and healthy. Here's hoping we get a decision on this one way or another very very soon.

I have seen a lot of draft a TE in the 4th.. if the Patriots wait till 125, you're drafting Marlin Klein. Oscar Delp, Max Klare and Sam Roush will be long gone imo. They go 50-75 If Edge is the RD1 pick.. the Patriots will need to decide between tier 1 TE or tier 2 WR
